Trying Something New

Okay, I'm going to do this, I'm going to start a blog.

And, just so you know, this is pretty darn monumental because if you know me at all, then you probably know how much I hate writing; I love reading, but I hate writing.  In fact, I'll put it in my top ten list of things I don't like doing - It's going right next to solving math equations that have letters of the alphabet in them, and talking on the phone.

So, why am I starting a blog? Well, I'm embarking on a new adventure, and I wanted a place to document it. I figure blogging will allow family and friends to share in my adventures. And, if any strangers happen upon this blog, maybe the silly antics will create some laughter and smiles, or pull some heart strings along the way. Although, this is will mostly be about raising my new Gypsy Vanner filly, Lyric, this will probably include other anecdotes, as well.

Please feel free to introduce yourself and leave comments. Advice and constructive criticism are welcomed (unlike writing, I like to learn) all I ask is that you explain your advice/criticism so that I and others may understand your view. Also, please keep commentary g-rated. This is a family blog, and I don't want to spend the evening explaining to young horses in the barn what certain colorful words mean.
